News

New Dates For Milton Keynes: The Dates have been re-arranged due to a clash with the Formula1 Race at Silverstone.

New age categories for 2012: New age categories following FIS decision to change age groups for 2012/13 competition year. These races will include the following age categories

Category Years of Birth
U10 2003-2004 - not seeded
U12 2001-2002
U14 1999-2000
U16 1997-1998
U18 1995-1996
U21 1992-1994
Senior 1982-1991
Masters 1981 & earlier

Rule Changes for 2012

Following the poll that has been running regarding the rules on ski lengths some changed will be introduced this year.

  • * JN1 females will be allowed a 10cm tolerance to their ski length
  • * Ski length rules for Masters will be removed

Please read and understand the rules before entering Ski lengths will continue to be checked at British Indoor Grand Prix Series races.
If skis are not of the appropriate length, the skier will be cautioned and any results will not count towards either the seeding list, the event results or the series results.
